[ ? ]   What should I expect in a Sunday Service?
Everything we do here at Calvary Chapel is completely based on God’s Word, the Holy Bible, and has meaning and purpose. You can be secure that although our worship is expressive, it will never give way to fanaticism. Our praise is often bold and strong, yet sensitive and reverent. Worship is always led in ways that foster unity and emphasises that we are one body, team, or choir. Our expressions may involve emotions including laughter, applause, dance, lifting of hands, or even tears. We desire to experience true worship that is genuine and freeing - not sensational, or rigid..

We seek to communicate and interact with openness and transparency, yet always strive to maintain confidentiality.  When you share your prayer needs, they are held with the utmost love and concern, demonstrating sincerity and compassion.
When we gather for worship, we always welcome the Holy Spirit to function in ways that edify and encourage everyone.  The Bible teaches that there is freedom in public exhortation, but it must always be given in a spirit of love, self-control, and humility.  When the Holy Spirit is truly present, all things are done decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14).

We trust that you feel safe with us. Whether you need a caring environment, or a challenging one, the people and opportunities here are for you!We trust that you feel safe with us. Whether you need a caring environment, or a challenging one, the people and opportunities here are for you!

[? ]   I'm interested in finding out more about having my children baptised.
Since baptism is an important step in the life of a Christian, we do not baptise very young children.  Instead, we offer baby dedication (please see next question).  For older children, please ask a children’s ministry leader for baptism information.
